A Star is Born / MP3 Audio
On rock-strewn pathways
my feet stumble on.
My weary soul questions:
“Will the night be long?”
The wind moans a song
of hope forlorn.
All eyes search the sky
for a Star to be Born.
Snow on the mountains, dew on the hills,
The whole world is quiet, is desperately still.
I watch for a sign. Is there hope to be found?
I find a Branch in the desert
a root of dry ground.
Grow little Branch into a big tree.
Shine little Star set God’s people free!
Sign in the sky, Branch in the sand,
Guide God’s children into Love’s New Land.
Snow on the mountains, dew on the hills,
The whole world is quiet, is desperately still.
The wind brings a song, it greets a new morn:
All eyes watch the sky:
A Star is Born.
